Thinking big…

A problem that a lot of new web developers face is getting out of the minutae and looking at the global picture.  Hence my new credo of the day…

The idea is that as much as you may get caught in doing the small things, don’t forget about the scale of the project you are working on.  Always plan for growth, always expect things to not interoperate, always take into account both sides of the coin and that your users will invariably do whatever it was you didn’t intend them to.
